My day off!

I love Tuesdays because it is usually my day off so I get to be home with Brayden. He is such a handsome boy. He is growing so fast. He is now nine months. He says moma, but usually only when he is upset and he is crying for me. He also says dada and has said baba once for his Aunt Nichole. Brayden is so close too walking. He takes 3-6 steps and then he falls. Brayden loves food. He will eat about anything we give him. If we are eating without him he gets so mad. We have to try to cordinate our meals so we eat at the same time to try to prevent him from having to many meals. It is so much fun to introduce new foods to him and watch his reaction. I just love watching him develop.

Christmas Tree Hunting

We have a family tradition to go find a Christmas tree and cut it down after Thanksgiving. This year we put snow suits on all the kids and took them up. We had a great time and found a beautiful tree. Tristan did awesome in the snow. London had a hard time. I don't think it was as enjoyable for her. Brayden had a great time until Zach put him down in the snow and with all his clothes on he couldn't hold up his head so he face planted it in the snow. He looked so adorable.

Thanksgiving

I know I'm posting this a month late, but I have been so busy. Brayden is 8 months in these pictures. He loves standing up an is getting close to walking. For dinner I gave him a plate of mashed potatoes and corn. He fed himself. It was so adorable. He just loved it!

While Zach was gone hunting I was babysitting London for a few hours. She brought over a bag of skittles which I opened for her. I left Brayden with her for a minute and went into the kitchen. When I came back, Brayden and London were sitting across from each other and between them were skittles all over the ground. From behind I looked like Brayden was trying to eat them. My stomach dropped and I ran to him. When I got to him I saw that He was eating a piece of licorice. London had given it to him. I cleaned up the skittles and put a towel under Brayden so that he could enjoy his candy. It was so cute. He loved it.

Happy Halloween!

Here is the pumpkin I carved.

Daddy & Brayden time (with mommy supervision)!

Get these poka dots off of my head!

Brayden loves to play with his daddy! Except for the night that Zach ripped my pj bottoms in half and wrapped a piece around Brayden's head. He didn't like that at all. Zach sure thought it was funny. I'm out a pj bottom so I'm was real excited about that.

More pictures from my Idaho trip!

Well I have tried to download my recent pictures, but they are not downloading. It tells me there is an error. So if anyone has any advise I would really like it. Anyways, I just want to shout out to my brother whom is away from his family working hard. I love you so much Mike. You are such an awesome brother. I had so much fun when I came and stayed with you guys. Nichole, thanks for everything. Your house is beautiful. You are such and amazing mother and wife. Jaxton and Kadence, what can I say besides you are two of the four best looking kids around. The other two I have to mention is my son Brayden and nephew Mason. I'm so happy to have such incredible people in my family.

Trip to Idaho

Brayden, Matthew and I went to Idaho last week to stay at Mike and Nichole's house. We had such a good time. Brayden loved playing with Jaxton and Kadence. I'm so excited to watch them all grow up and play with each other. I think they will all be very close.
While we were there we went to the zoo with the kids dressed up in there halloween costume. Kadence was a sheep, she was so adorable. On the way home we went to a pumpkin patch to get pumpkins to carve. It was my first time carving pumpkins. Brayden touched the inside of the pumpkin. He pulled such a funny face. I don't think he liked the feel much.

CANYON PICTURES

Zach and I took the kids up the canyon for pictures. Brayden was so well behaved. He just loves being in the outdoors. I put him down and let him explore the world around him. Tristan cried a lot until Zach told him to staighten up and then he smiled real cute for the pictures. London couldn't keep her focus for very long. Zach didn't have that much trying to get all the kids to pose. He said that it is the last time he'll get us all together for a while for pictures until the kids pose a little better. What do you expect-they are kids. Ha Ha!

Tristan doesn't play with Brayden very often, but when he does it is really cute. Brayden loves his big brother and sister so much. He loves it when they come over. Brayden crawls around the house following the kids when they play.

Brayden playing at grandma's house

When I go to work Brayden spends the day with Grandma Becky. She has so much fun with him. Brayden is growing so fast. He is now crawling and sits himself up. I have to be careful now and make sure that the carpet is cleaning. He found a grape the other day and tried to eat it. He is also getting close to pulling himself up holding on to objects. At his Doctor appointment last week he weighed 18.15 lbs. He got weighed again a couple of days ago is over 19 lbs. He is 27 inches long. The Dr. sayed that Brayden acts like he is nine months old. He is such a strong boy. I am so proud of him. Brayden loves to play games. He thinks it is fun to go back and forth to people when they hold their arms out. He also laughs when he sees himself in the mirror. Peek-a-boo is also another game he loves to play. Brayden is a very good eater, he loves to eat anything we give him. I can introduce baby meats to him in 1-2 months. I can't believe how time flys.

My first buck!

Well I shot my first buck. It was such an amazing experience. Zach also got a buck. I spotted it for him. The buck was beautiful, it was still in full velvet. It took three people and two days to pack our camp and deer out of the mountains. We hiked up past 10,000 feet high, which was about a 5 mile hike. I was packing out as much weight as the guys were. We have been eating the deer meat the last few days. It is the best deer meat I have ever tasted! I believe that if you are going to hunt something you better eat the meat. If you aren't planning on eating it, you shouldn't be hunting it.
